Japandroids - Fire’s Highway
After hearing ‘Younger Us’ earlier this year I was very excited about the new Japandroids album and when ‘The House That Heaven Built’ was released I was anticipating their sophomore LP ‘Celebration Rock’ to be a contender for album of the year. Right now, a few days in to listening to it, I cannot see another album topping it an 2012. It is quite simply a relentlessly passionate and emotional, sing along, fist pumping record of brilliant song writing and heart. I could have picked any of the eight tracks to post as they are all superb. CELEBRATION ROCK INDEED! Irrepressible!
